COLOURATION:
We currently offer the flour paint kit in 4 different shades (see below) and one custom color option, this option allow you to pick one kilo of mineral pigment from our website to create your own flour paint shade . Please note that we have not tested all our mineral pigment in flour paint , meaning we cannot provide the shade that will be created with your custom choice . When picking this option ,please email us your mineral pigment choice at info@terrachrom.com , be mindful to only use natural mineral pigments.
Note that the final color will be darker than the color of the pigment in powder form due to the linseed oil in the ingredient list.
To lighten a pigment, Titanium dioxide (the only synthetic pigment that can be used in flour paint) can be added in a 2% ratio to the ratio of pigment added in the recipe. This pigment should be mixed with the natural pigment powder in the proportions specified in the recipe. (For example, if adding 1kg of pigment to the flour paint mix ; a 2% ratio of titanium dioxide would be 20g of pigment).
You can also create your own flour paint recipe using pigments and supplies ingredients available on our site, but be mindful to only use natural mineral pigments.
