Glitter your world!
These pigments create unique decorative effects and are among the most durable and brightest glitters on the market. They are solvent-resistant and can withstand high temperatures in most paints and resins.

Each pigment consists of micro-flakes cut in sizes ranging from 0.002 mm to 0.25 mm.

Our Polyester Glitters are the perfect choice for your next craft or industrial project.
They can be used in varnish, resin, acrylic mediums, or simply to add sparkle to kids’ projects. Highly reflective and exceptionally sparkly, they are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. When mixed with the proper medium, they resist sun and water exposure.

Polyester Glitter withstands temperatures up to 170 °C (338 °F); for higher-temperature applications, we recommend our Pearlescent Mica Pigments.

Intended for artistic and industrial uses—not suitable for cosmetic use.

Composition: polyethylene terephthalate, pigment, clear polymer topcoat.

Tips for Using Glitter in Your Project

  • Use fine polyester glitter for a smooth, elegant shimmer; chunky glitter can create a more uneven finish.

  • Apply a similar-coloured base coat—glitter looks best when layered over a complementary shade (e.g., silver glitter over light grey, gold glitter over beige).

  • Mix the glitter into your medium right before applying it, as it can settle at the bottom if left to sit.

  • Stir occasionally during application to keep the glitter evenly suspended.

Available Sizes: 30 ml and 1 L

Polyester Glitter + Acrylic Medium (Glitter Paint)

Use for: wall art, wooden décor, paper, or canvas

Ingredients:

  • 1 part polyester glitter
  • 3–4 parts acrylic medium
  • Optional: a few drops of water to thin the mixture if needed

Instructions:

  1. Mix the glitter and acrylic medium thoroughly in a small cup.
  2. Apply thin layers for a subtle shimmer, or use thicker coats for full glitter coverage.
  3. Allow each layer to dry completely before applying the next.
  4. Finish with a clear varnish to reduce shedding and enhance durability.

Result: A smooth, durable glitter finish that won’t flake off easily.

Polyester Glitter + Epoxy Resin (for Resin Art or Casting)

Use for: jewelry, coasters, tumblers, keychains, resin tables

Ingredients:

  • 1 part polyester glitter
  • 8–10 parts mixed epoxy resin (by volume)

Instructions:

  1. Mix the epoxy resin and hardener according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Stir in the glitter slowly to minimise bubbles.
  3. Pour the mixture into your mould or onto your surface.
  4. Allow to cure fully (typically 24 hours).

Tips:

  • Fine glitter provides an even shimmer; chunky glitter adds texture and dimension.
  • Polyester glitter is solvent-resistant, so it will not dissolve or lose colour in resin.

How to: Polyester Glitter in Cement

Option 1 – Surface Sprinkle Method (Best Results)

  1. Mix and pour your cement (Cement All, mortar, or concrete).
  2. When the surface begins to set — firm but still slightly damp — sprinkle polyester glitter evenly across it.
  3. Gently press the glitter into the surface using a trowel or gloved hand.
  4. Allow the cement to cure as normal.
  5. Once fully dry, seal with a clear concrete sealer or an epoxy topcoat to lock in the glitter and restore shine.

Advantages:

  • Glitter stays on the surface for maximum brightness.
  • Easy to control the amount and distribution of sparkle.
  • Minimal waste and less risk of dulling.

Option 2 – Mixed-In Glitter (For Casting or Polished Pieces)

  1. Add 1–2 tablespoons of polyester glitter per 2 cups of dry cement mix (adjust to own preference).
  2. Mix glitter with the dry cement, then add water.
  3. Pour or cast as usual.
  4. After curing, lightly sand or polish the surface to expose the embedded glitter.
  5. Finish with a clear acrylic or epoxy sealer to enhance shine.

Works best for:
Small décor pieces, stepping stones, terrazzo-style objects, tiles, planters, and countertops.
