Light Yellow Ochre is a 100% natural mineral pigment with a soft, warm yellow colour. Composed of naturally occurring iron-bearing minerals and aluminosilicates, including goethite and kaolinite, it offers an earthy yellow tone for traditional and contemporary decorative applications.

Its natural colour and excellent UV resistance make it suitable for a variety of artistic, architectural and mineral-based finishes, subject to compatibility with the chosen binder.

Mixing & Application

Light Yellow Ochre can be incorporated into compatible binders to produce warm yellow finishes. For more uniform colour development, gradually introduce the pigment into the selected medium and mix thoroughly to distribute it evenly.

Pigment dosage depends on the binder, desired colour intensity and application method. Prepare a small test batch to evaluate dispersion, colour and finished-surface performance before proceeding with a larger project.

 

Handling & Storage

Store in a closed container in a dry location. Avoid creating or inhaling airborne dust, use adequate ventilation and wear suitable eye protection when handling dry pigment.
