For use with lime-based paints, this ecological PRIMA undercoat is formulated to consolidate the substrate and even out its absorption capacity, giving it good “blocking” capacity without interfering with its breathability.  Reduces the risk of “visible joints” by preventing the finish from drying too quickly. 

93% natural ingredients, VOC FREE (less than 0.20gr/l.)

Use: Interior & exterior.

PRIMA Eco Undercoat can be used to: 

-reinforce inconsistent substrates, consolidate potentially flaky or powdery substrates and ensure correct adhesion of the top layers.

-even out slight differences in substrate absorption: in the case of pre-mixed plasters or 
mortars of similar composition to the original plaster.

-reduce substrate absorption: limit the absorption of highly absorbent plasters by 
preventing the finish from drying too quickly in warm weather and reducing the risk of 
visible joints. 

Surfaces 
-Plaster, drywall, lime-based and clay-based substrates.  -Vegetal resin-based paints and coatings

-Sanded down synthetic products (water-repellent paints, high-gloss coatings or decorative paints)

-Mortar-filled substrates

- Low-absorbency substrates (compact and synthetic plasters, renders & coatings)

Tools: Synthetic brush or roller. Cleaning with soap and water. 

Coverage
Approximately 90-110 sft/l (≈8-10 m2/l) after dilution for 1 coat (for applications on smooth, normal absorbency surfaces.)
