Dammar Gum

Dammar gum, or Damar gum, is a natural resin obtained from the Dipterocarpaceae family of trees, and is used in the fabrication of varnishes for painted furniture and as a binder in painting mediums.

Used in the fabrication of crystal varnish, Dammar Gum gives a very bright film. Dammar Gum is entirely dissolved in solvents, such as citrus terpenes, turpentine essences and mineral spirits.
