Also known as whiting powder, ground calcium carbonate (GCC), or marble flour, it is widely used as a mineral filler in limewash, lime paint, casein paint, gesso, decorative plasters, and mineral coatings.

Mixing Guidelines

Start by adding a small amount of marble dust to your paint, plaster, or binder and mix thoroughly.

Gradually increase the amount to achieve the desired thickness or texture. If the mixture becomes too thick, add additional liquid or binder to adjust the consistency.

Because marble dust is naturally white, it has minimal effect on the colour of most formulations, although high loading levels may slightly lighten tinted mixtures.
